Qualifiers Stage Scorecard

IEIC 2025 QUALIFIERS SCORECARD

Teams have been asked to create a for-profit social venture that will have a measurable positive impact on people and/or the planet and meet UN SDGs by 2030.

Please use the logic below to rate teams against the criteria listed under each segment of the scorecard.

TEAM

• Expertise: Are the team members committed and do their skills complement each other?
• Structure: Does each team member have a clear role and responsibility?
• Communication: Did the team work well together and present their pitch and Q&A effectively?

Scoring Guide:

1. Disorganized, unclear roles, and/or lacking expertise.
2. Weak organization and/or insufficient skills.
3. Average team, some potential but lacks cohesion.
4. Clear roles, complementary skills, good teamwork.
5. Strong, well-organized team with excellent communication.

IDEA

• Problem: Does the team clearly understand the problem and its impact?
• Solution: Is the solution innovative and effective in addressing the problem?
• Prototyping: Has the solution been tested with real users and has feedback been integrated?
